Developed by CapitaLand Ltd, the mixed-use office-cum-retail development marks the fourth project in the developer's Raffles City lineup.
The latest Raffles City project was officially launched by CapitaLand last Monday.
Raffles City Chengdu marks the fourth property under the group's Raffles City brand in a portfolio that spans the globe.
The inauguration was attended by officials from Singapore and China, including Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong; Wei Hong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Provincial Committee and Deputy Governor of Sichuan Province; Ng Kee Choe, chairman of CapitaLand; and Liew Mun Leong, president and CEO of CapitaLand.
Located along Renmin South Road, Raffles City Chengdu occupies a prominent location in the heart of Chengdu's international business hub. It is connected to the interchange of Lines One and Three of the Chengdu Metro, ensuring ease of travel for visitors to the building.
The property consists of a Grade A office tower as well as a shopping mall, and will commence operations this month. It has reportedly signed up major tenants such as Silkair, Surbana and CapitaLand China.
Raffles City Chengdu also includes a residential component, Ascott Raffles City Chendgu, which is expected to begin operations next year.
